Shirley Hunter established SIMPLY SPECIAL in 2005. Working from her studio, at the foothills of the Sperrin Mountains in Co Tyrone, she has designed, and individually makes, a range of quality handmade cards for all occasions.

Her cards were recognized for their quality design at Showcase Ireland 2006 receiving an INDEX 50 award which placed them in the “Top 50 most innovative and exciting new products of the Show”. Further recognition followed after an extremely successful British Craft Trade Fair in Harrogate in April 2007; Simply Special was featured in Giftware Review Magazine in their “Best in Show” article.

Shirley now has the perfect retail package to offer. Having designed and sourced display units that ensure an excellent showcase for her cards whilst occupying the most efficient floor space area, thus providing a valuable return on investment per sq footage. The Simply Special range is constantly updated with new designs.

Simply Special cards are sold through a wide variety of retail outlets in Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Scotland and England.
